CHRISTMAS PAPER CRAFTS

Christmas Tree Card

Materials List:

Cardstock (cover weight)

  • Curious Metallics-Cryogen White

Glitter cardstock

  • Green
  • Kiwi Gem
  • Olive Green
  • Bronze

A-7 envelope in your choice of colour

Adhesive runner, adhesive squares, Glue stick or other adhesive

Scissors and Paper Trimmer / Craft Knife

Ruler

Instructions:

Cut Cryogen White cardstock to 7” x 10” - to be used for card folder

Score the cut cardstock at centre and fold (burnish the fold for a crisp edge)

Cut a strip of bronze glitter cardstock for trunk of tree and adhere to center of card

Cut seven strips approximately ½” wide using the three colours of green glitter cardstock

Arrange the seven strips on a cutting mat and cut the angle to create the tree using a craft knife

Adhere the strips from larger to small up the trunk leaving approximately ¼” between each strip alternating colours of green

Cut out a star and adhere to finish your tree

Your simple but elegant 5” x 7” card is ready to add your personal message and pop into an A-7 envelope. Your friends and family will love receiving this contemporary greeting!

Card & Ornament

Materials List:

Cardstock (cover weight)

  • Stardream-Bluebell
  • Shine-Blue Satin

Glitter cardstock

  • Silver

A-7 envelope in your choice of colour

Silver twine

Adhesive runner, adhesive squares, Glue stick or other adhesive

Silver permanent marker

Scissors and Paper Trimmer / Craft Knife

Object to trace for a circle approximately 3 ¾” in diameter (ie: cup, glass or tin)

Ruler

Instructions:

Cut Stardream Bluebell cardstock to 5” x 10” - to be used for card folder

Score the cut cardstock at centre and fold (burnish the fold for a crisp edge)

Trace a 3 ¾” circle onto the Shine Blue Satin cardstock and cut out the shape

Using a silver permanent marker add a design to your ornament

Cut a 1” square of silver glitter cardstock for top of ornament and adhere to ornament back

Cut a length of silver twine for the hanger and adhere to glitter cardstock back

Adhere the blue ornament to the center of your card

Your wintery blue 5” x 7” card is ready to add your personal message and pop into an A-7 envelope. This card is simple but sure to impress!

Circles Wreath Card

Materials List:

Cardstock (cover weight)

  • Aura-Natural Kraft
  • Stardream-Emerald
  • Stardream-Mars

Glitter cardstock

  • Gold Leaf

1 ½” and 1” circle punches or anything you might have around the house to trace and cut out to that size.

Adhesive runner, adhesive squares, Glue stick or other adhesive

Jute Twine

Scissors and Paper Trimmer / Craft Knife

6” square envelope in your choice of colour

Ruler

Instructions:

Cut Aura Natural Kraft cardstock to 5 ½” x 11” - to be used for card folder

Score the cut cardstock at centre and fold (burnish the fold for a crisp edge)

Punch or cut out nine 1 ½” circles and twelve 1” circles from remaining three colours

Adhere the nine 1 ½” circles to the card front starting the shape of the wreath

Adhere the twelve 1” circles to fill in and finish the shape of the wreath

Cut a piece of twine and construct a bow. Adhere bow to wreath using selected adhesive

Your quick and beautiful 5 ½” square card is ready to add your personalized greeting and pop into a 6” square envelope. Your friends and family will love your creativity!
